Description
Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Can I trust the Bible?
At Peace VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday lives.
Track 1 is for children age 3 through going into 3rd grade. We will sign praise to Jesus, make a daily craft, play games, and eat snacks. (Cost is $10 per child.)
Track 2 is for children going into 4th and 5th grade. Children can participate in Bible stories, play handbells, woodworking and other art projects, and sword routine. (Cost is $10 per child.)
Lutheran Adventure Week is for children going into 6th grade. During the week, these children will have an opportunity to take field trips to Concordia Publishing House and learn about the process of publishing books, to the Seminary where they learn about how God calls people into ministry, to the LCMS International Center and learn about missionaries and KFUO radio and make a radio ad, and take a trip to Perry County, MO to learn how the LCMS grew in the United States. We will take a 15-passenger van. We will return each day by noon, except on Friday when we go to Perry County. We will return by 5:00 pm. (Cost is $30 per child)
Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey!
